The day is meandering along a book and laundry path with constant viewing of Chopped and Fixer Upper. That is feeling like an awesome use of the day. 

The thought of making a better home for our stuff is awesome.

Day of rest

Have you noticed that when you commit to slacking, the universe does not always agree?
I really should consider this more for the entire weekend.
After church, the pool, a refueling drive-thru and a trip to the library, it was almost 3 pm when I got home.
Oh and I had thought about an outline for writing, chuckle.
But Mr. Robot was calling.

1. This week I am again going to think about getting home on time.
2. More pool time.
3. More light eating for dinner.

New Year's Resolution

I wasn't interested in anything in December, but the realization that my health woes are stacking up higher and higher has made me realize I need to get with the me program.
I think I ate a somewhat healthy menu for me: a banana, popcorn and veggie taco salad.
I am totally going to celebrate that.
Now to go to bed at a decent time.
An even bigger part of the me program.
